## About the Role

* Hands-on experience developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting SAP Business Server Pages (BSP) applications
 * Strong understanding of web application architecture within the SAP ecosystem, including frontend and backend interactions
 * Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for developing and supporting browser-based SAP applications
 * Troubleshooting browser-based application issues with browser developer tools, and root cause analysis across frontend and SAP backend components

Strongly required technical skills: SAP ABAP development and Fiori

 * Expert-level ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
 * Core SAP development objects and frameworks: reports, Function Modules, RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, ALE/IDoc integrations, SAP Workflow, and Forms technologies (SmartForms, SAPScript, Adobe Forms)
 * Strong debugging, root cause analysis and production support, including SQL analysis, tracing and ABAP performance optimization
 * SAP Transport Management and deployment processes
 * Hands-on experience building custom SAP Fiori applications from scratch using SAPUI5 and Fiori development principles, with ABAP-based backend services and business logic
 * Extending standard SAP Fiori applications to meet business requirements, following SAP-recommended extensibility and development practices
 * Strong understanding of OData services and the integration between SAP Fiori applications and ABAP backend components

Modern web development (preferred)

 * Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, web development practices and component-based frontend architectures
 * Experience with React and/or Next.js is highly desirable
 * Experience developing and consuming web services and APIs

Functional knowledge

 * Working knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) business processes
 * Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts and functional teams

 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues independently
 * Excellent written and verbal communication, explaining technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Design, develop, enhance and support SAP ABAP, BSP and Fiori applications, with ABAP as the core development competency
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, browser and performance issues
 * Partner with business analysts and functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
 * Perform code reviews and promote ABAP, Fiori and AI-assisted development best practices while maintaining code quality and supportability
 * Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements and production stability of SAP applications
 * Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP solutions
