In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open new opportunities. As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you can help turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. Across private and public sectors, from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence, we need you to help find the answers in the data. On our team, you'll use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact. You'll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems. You'll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions. Ultimately, you'll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used. In this role, you will work closely with technical leads, data engineers, business stakeholders, and client teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform. Working in an agile environment, you will help transform complex data into actionable insights that improve operational decision-making, program performance, and public health outcomes. The ideal candidate will apply strong data engineering and software development practices to build and optimize data pipelines, workflows, dashboards, and user-facing applications. This individual will support the ingestion, transformation, governance, and visualization of enterprise data while collaborating across technical and functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. Work with us as we use data science for good. What You'll Work On: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry using Python, PySpark, TypeScript, and related technologies. * Import, integrate, clean, standardize, and manage data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources while resolving data quality issues. * Build and maintain reusable code, transformation logic, Ontologies, and operational workflows using Foundry Code Repositories and version control best practices. * Configure and optimize dashboards, Workshop applications, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights and improve business operations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business, functional, and technical requirements into scalable data solutions and platform capabilities. * Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, scrum ceremonies, Jira tracking, and collaboration with engineering and stakeholder teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
