## About the Role

Software Engineering, Python Programming/Scripting Language, Problem Solving Skills, Brokerage, Communication Skills, Project Estimates, Test Design, Software Development, Project Design, Java, Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other Engineering with software experience.1-2 years of professional software development experience. Recent graduates should have completed at least one software development internship.Programming experience in at least one of Python, Go, C++, Rust, or Java, with the ability to build structured applications beyond basic scripting and a willingness to work primarily in Python and Go.A solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, demonstrated through internships, coursework, or substantive projects.Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the initiative to investigate unfamiliar problems and follow through on a solution.Familiarity using Git version control.Working familiarity with the Unix/Linux command line and basic shell scripting.Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions and document your
work.Familiarity with unit and acceptance testing, and experience writing automated tests in your chosen programming language.Hands-on experience using an agentic coding tool such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, pi.dev, or similar to develop, debug, or test software.
