## About the Role

Network Architecture/Engineering, Firewalls, Network Routers, High Availability, Documentation, Network Administration/Management, Network Architecture/Engineering, Information/Data Security (InfoSec), Problem Solving Skills, Network Switching, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

 * 4 years' experience working in a network administration role required.

## Description

The Network Engineer II is responsible for planning and leading the installation, configuration, documentation and maintenance of network infrastructure devices and software including network routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls, ensuring high availability and security.The Network Engineer II is responsible for conducting activities related to Business Recovery including providing network redundancy and participating in the semi-annual Business Recovery tests.The Network Engineer II is also responsible for working with outside vendors and other departmental personnel to resolve production issues, and for working with Server Engineering and Information Security to respond to and resolve network availability, performance, and security issues.
