## About the Role

* Active Top Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
 * 8+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance automation, or test engineering
 * Extensive hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Postman, or similar technologies
 * Strong experience developing automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
 * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps environments
 * Strong understanding of REST API testing, microservices validation, and application integration testing
 * Experience validating large-scale data migrations, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity
 * Experience testing applications across cloud-based and on-premises environments
 * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, defect tracking, and test management processes
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and communication skills

## Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to support automated testing, quality assurance, and application modernization initiatives for a mission-critical federal program in Quantico, VA . The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and implement automated testing frameworks, validate large-scale data migrations, and ensure application reliability across cloud and on-premises environments. This individual will collaborate with Software Development, Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, and Data Migration teams to deliver secure, high-quality enterprise solutions. This position will be onsite in Quantico, VA and requires an active Top Secret clearance!, * Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, microservices, and data workflows

 * Develop automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scripts
 * Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment
 * Validate large-scale data migrations to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity
 * Execute automated testing across cloud-based and on-premises application environments
 * Perform API testing, interface validation, and microservices integration testing
 * Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects through resolution
 * Conduct smoke testing, regression testing, and release verification to ensure deployment readiness
 * Collaborate with development, cloud, migration, and DevSecOps teams to improve software quality and testing efficiency
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical reviews
 * Develop and maintain test plans, automated scripts, defect reports, and testing documentation
