This individual will be responsible for advancing and maturing Agile and Scrum practices across teams that are currently at different stages of Agile adoption. Unlike a traditional software development environment, these teams primarily consist of analysts, application owners, and resources responsible for coordinating, configuring, implementing, and enhancing existing virtual healthcare technology solutions across the organization. The Scrum Master will support three teams spanning telehealth, language services, remote patient monitoring, virtual nursing, virtual OR integration, behavioral health, and other virtual care applications. They will facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives while partnering closely with application/domain owners to prioritize work and maintain the product backlog in Jira. A key focus of this role will be creating consistency across the three teams, improving accountability, monitoring sprint velocity and progress, and ultimately ensuring each team operates effectively within an Agile/Scrum framework. The ideal candidate is a proactive servant leader who is comfortable stepping into an environment where Agile maturity varies by team. This person should be willing to take initiative, challenge the team when necessary, identify where processes are breaking down, and hold team members accountable while maintaining strong relationships. They will help ensure the teams are focused on the right priorities, remove or escalate roadblocks, manage competing priorities and cross-team dependencies, and continuously identify opportunities to improve how work is planned and delivered.
