As a Platform Engineer, you'll build and operate the hybrid infrastructure behind a Digital Twin and Modeling & Simulation platform for military test ranges, spanning AWS GovCloud and VMware-based on-premises and disconnected environments. You'll design, automate, and maintain the networking, storage, and Kubernetes foundations that let simulation, visualization, and data processing workloads run consistently whether they sit in the cloud or at the range. You'll work closely with DevOps engineers, backend developers, and solution architects so the platform stays secure, repeatable, and ready for accreditation in regulated DoD environments. In this role, you'll solve hard hybrid-cloud problems, from workload portability and network connectivity to hardening and lifecycle management. You'll also grow your skills across both enterprise virtualization and cloud-native technologies.
