 * 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Analytics-focused role
 * Prior experience working in the insurance industry is required
 * Strong proficiency with SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data
 * Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
 * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions
 * Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business insights
 * Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and reporting best practices
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to business stakeholders
 * Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience with claims, underwriting, policy administration, actuarial, or risk data
 * Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
 * Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

## Description

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

 * 80% Hands On
 * Analyze insurance data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
 * Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and operational metrics
 * Support stakeholders with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests
 * Validate and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy
 * Partner with business teams to define reporting requirements and KPIs
 * Present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership
 * Assist with process improvement initiatives through data-driven insights
 * Support ongoing efforts to improve data quality and reporting efficiency
