## About the Role

You are a pragmatic and structured Machine Software Engineer who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary, hands-on environment. You communicate clearly, collaborate easily, and like to see your work come to life in real machines., * Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related engineering field

 * 3-5 years of experience in software development
 * Strong experience with C# (preferred) or Java
 * Experience with MVVM frameworks (e.g., WPF)
 * Willingness to work with (and maintain) WinForms
 * Excellent command of English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

 * Experience in multidisciplinary environments (hardware + software)
 * Familiarity with .NET Framework and .NET Core

## Description

As a Machine Software Engineer, you are part of the Software & Controls team within the Development & Engineering department. You work in a multidisciplinary environment where software, physics, and mechatronics come together., * Develop robust software that enables customers to operate high-precision machines effectively

 * Work across the full software stack, with an initial focus on integrating existing systems into the QED platform
 * Collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands and the United States on architecture and implementation
 * Contribute to improving and extending the functionality of existing systems
 * Test and validate your software directly on machines in a hands-on environment
