## Description

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join a Network Security team within a large and critical banking environment.

The consultant will be responsible for the operational management, maintenance and evolution of firewall infrastructures, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet technologies.

The role requires a hands-on and autonomous engineer with strong experience in firewall operations, security policy management, troubleshooting and production support.

 * Operate and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall environments, using Panorama and FortiManager.
 * Manage, implement and update firewall rules and security policies.
 * Analyse network flows, firewall logs and existing rules to troubleshoot connectivity and security issues.
 * Perform firewall rule optimisation, clean-up and security hardening.
 * Support network security and segmentation requirements.
 * Handle production activities including incidents, changes and service/information requests.
 * Troubleshoot network and firewall-related incidents in production environments.
 * Implement and follow up security-related changes in controlled PROD and NON-PROD environments.
 * Contribute to the continuous improvement and security of the firewall infrastructure.
 * Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.
 * Collaborate with Network, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and other technical teams.
