## About the Role

you have completed a relevant degree in process engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical

engineering, or a similar field, or you are about to graduate. Alternatively, a completed BSc degree is also

acceptable if you'd like to enter the workforce immediately.

 * You have strong communication skills (including interacting with customers).
 * You are eager to learn and quick to grasp new concepts, and you have a professional demeanor
 * Written and spoken English
 * Willingness to travel (for commissioning projects)

## Description

To support this team, we are looking for an Application Engineer to assist us in the development of these products., * Assisting with development work

 * Setup, calibration, and operation of sensors (primarily cameras)
 * Collecting and evaluating data
 * Creating image processing and AI models (including testing) and optimizing them
 * Commissioning of sensor systems on paper machines, including remote maintenance
 * Developing suggestions for improvement at every stage of the system chain

Your Profile - What We're Looking For:

 * interest in understanding complex technical systems/equipment in their entirety (in this case: paper
 * machines). This includes: mechanics, image capture, sensor and analysis software, and much more.
