## About the Role

* Work arrangement: Hybrid, in accordance with the company's remote working policy
 * Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
 * Languages: Fluent English and fluent French or Dutch, * You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.

 * You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical leadership, IT solution delivery, application management or IT project implementation.

 * You have solid experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly .NET, Visual Studio and SQL Server.

 * You have a good understanding of software architecture principles, system integration, security standards and compliance requirements.

 * You are familiar with modern cloud and integration technologies, ideally including Microsoft Azure, APIs, containerization and cloud-native architectures.

 * You have experience in requirements definition, fit-gap analyses and software evaluation and selection.

 * You have a good understanding of Agile methodologies.

 * You are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.

 * You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, together with a proactive, autonomous and collaborative mindset.

 * Experience in the energy or electricity sector is considered a plus.

 * Languages: Fluent English and fluent French or Dutch, both written and spoken.

## Description

For a leading electricity transmission system operator in Belgium and Germany, we are looking for an IT Solution Lead to support the evolution of its IT landscape within the Grid Solutions department.

As part of strategic IT initiatives, particularly those related to programme and project planning and resource management, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional leadership throughout the delivery of IT solutions.

You will play a key role in translating business requirements into reliable, scalable and secure IT solutions, from initial design through implementation, deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, testers, project leaders and external suppliers, you will ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of IT solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards., * Lead the technical implementation of IT projects, from solution definition through deployment and operational support.

 * Analyse, challenge and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
 * Contribute to solution design and ensure compliance with IT architecture, security and technology standards.
 * Coordinate with internal functional and technical teams and platforms throughout the delivery and operational phases.
 * Provide technical expertise and recommendations on software components, technology choices, resource requirements and IT budget estimates.
 * Oversee the development, deployment and operational support of custom-built applications, primarily based on Microsoft technologies such as .NET.
 * Manage the integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf (OTS) software solutions within the existing IT landscape.
 * Conduct fit-gap analyses and contribute to technical assessments, RFI/RFP processes and software selection activities.
 * Support incident, problem and application maintenance management in collaboration with external suppliers.
 * Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
