The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, mapping, and loading as part of ERP implementation or migration projects. Experience with Epicor ERP is highly preferred. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on Data Migration Analyst who can join an ERP implementation team and quickly take ownership of data-related activities. Candidates with 3+ years of ERP data migration experience and practical Epicor knowledge will be strongly preferred. The role requires someone who is not only technically capable of manipulating and migrating data but can also understand business processes, ERP dependencies, and implementation timelines and work collaboratively with functional and technical teams. ## Description Data Migration * Analyse existing ERP and legacy system data and identify data migration requirements. * Extract data from legacy systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other sources. * Perform data cleansing, standardisation, deduplication, and validation. * Develop and maintain data mapping documents between legacy systems and the target ERP. * Transform data according to ERP data structures, business rules, and migration requirements. * Prepare data files/templates for ERP data import and migration. * Execute data loads and support multiple migration cycles, including mock migrations and final migration. * Reconcile migrated data between source and target systems. * Identify and resolve data quality and migration issues. ERP Implementation Support * Work closely with ERP functional consultants and business stakeholders during implementation. * Support ERP configuration and implementation activities from a data perspective. * Understand business processes such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and related master data. * Support data requirements during Fit-Gap, UAT, testing, cutover, and go-live activities. * Assist in preparing and maintaining migration plans, data templates, mapping documents, and validation reports. * Provide timely support during ERP implementation and go-live activities. * Participate in post-go-live data validation and issue resolution. Epicor / ERP-Specific Responsibilities * Work with Epicor ERP data structures and migration requirements, preferably Epicor Kinetic / Epicor ERP. * Understand Epicor master data and transactional data relevant to implementation projects. * Support data migration using available Epicor import, integration, or data-loading tools and processes. * Coordinate with Epicor functional/technical teams to resolve data-related issues. * Understand the relationship between ERP master data and business processes. Data Quality & Governance * Establish and maintain data quality checks and validation rules. * Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information, and invalid records. * Maintain data migration issue logs and track resolution. * Ensure migrated data meets agreed business and technical requirements. * Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for migration activities.
