Whether you're just starting out or an experienced professional, both are welcome. * A Master's degree in (industrial) engineering, computer science or a similar discipline, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. * A solid foundation in computer vision, gained through your studies, thesis, personal projects or work. * You are proficient in Python and/or C++ and are familiar with NumPy, OpenCV and PyTorch. * You enjoy working on-site with clients and are happy to carry out an installation or spend a day in the factory. * You communicate clearly and with a customer-focused approach, in both Dutch and English. * You take ownership and enjoy working independently, whilst being supported by a team. * You hold a Category B driving licence. A bonus, but not essential: experience with industrial cameras and lighting, 3D vision, edge hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson, or integration with PLCs and robots. ## Description You are the driving force behind your project from a technical perspective, from the client's initial enquiry right through to a system that runs every day. * You visit the site. Together with the client, you map out the process, the products and the requirements - on the shop floor, not just on paper. * You select the right hardware. Cameras, lenses, lighting, 3D sensors and computing power: you decide what works in dusty, vibrating, low-light or high-speed environments. * You build the intelligence. You collect data, train AI models and write robust software that runs in real time as part of the production line. * You install and commission the system. You integrate your solution with PLCs, robots and HMIs and fine-tune them at the customer's site. * You are the point of contact. You keep the customer informed, monitor scheduling and quality, and translate technical details into plain language. * You follow up. After handover, you return to the site, measure performance and propose improvements.
