* Experience of data engineering experience with strong Microsoft data technology expertise.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and/or Synapse.
 * Strong SQL, Python and/or PySpark skills.
 * Experience with Azure Data Lake/OneLake, data modelling and ETL/ELT.
 * Understanding of data governance, security and enterprise data architecture.
 * Proven experience managing technical delivery and engineering teams.
 * Strong Agile, stakeholder-management and client-facing skills.
 * Relevant Microsoft Azure/Fabric certifications are desirable
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

## Description

* Design and develop scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
 * Build data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and/or Synapse.
 * Develop data processing solutions using SQL, Python and PySpark.
 * Design and optimise data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses and data integration solutions.
 * Apply data quality, governance, security and performance best practices.
 * Lead data migration, modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
 * Manage delivery including planning, estimation, scope, risks, dependencies, quality and timelines.
 * Lead and mentor Data Engineers and technical teams.
 * Collaborate with architects, clients and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
 * Drive Agile delivery, technical governance and production readiness
