## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree.
 + 15+ years of experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and schema design using database development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Workbench, or equivalent.
 + 15+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) including database release and change management.
 + 15+ years of experience developing advanced SQL solutions, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and database programming (e.g., PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL).
 + 10+ years of experience with database testing frameworks and designing automated, repeatable tests for database logic and data integrity.
 + 10+ years of experience in database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
 + 5+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos DB, or equivalent.
 + 5+ years of experience in database backup, recovery, high availability, replication, and clustering strategies.

 * Translate business and application requirements into effective database designs.
 * Develop, maintain, and integrate database components.
 * Prototype and validate database solutions with stakeholders.
 * Test database components, ensuring performance, integrity, and reliability.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance.
 * Implement database security, access controls, and data protection measures.
 * Manage data migration, backup, and recovery strategies.
 * Support system deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
