## About the Role

Are you a Software Engineer who enjoys building complete features, solving technical challenges and exploring the possibilities of AI? Would you like to work on an international SaaS platform used by millions of people?, * Experience with Java and Spring Boot.

 * Knowledge of or experience with React and TypeScript.
 * Ideally 3+ years of professional software development experience. However, talented developers with 1-2 years of experience are also encouraged to apply.
 * The ability to independently develop and deliver software features.
 * Experience using AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar solutions.
 * A proactive, analytical and problem-solving mindset.
 * Bachelor's or master's level of thinking and problem-solving ability.
 * Good communication skills in English. Dutch is welcome but not required.
 * Availability for 32-40 hours per week, with the ability to regularly work from our Eindhoven office.
 * Authorization to work in the Netherlands.

Nice to have:

 * Experience with Hibernate.
 * Knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes or RabbitMQ.
 * Experience developing SaaS platforms or other software products.
 * Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and software architecture.

## Description

As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Butlaroo platform. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from technical design to implementation and optimization., * Develop backend services, APIs and database functionality using Java and Spring Boot.

 * Build and improve frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
 * Independently design, develop and deliver complete software features.
 * Contribute to technical architecture, scalability and product improvements.
 * Optimize existing functionality and solve complex technical challenges.
 * Actively use AI tools and AI agents to improve development efficiency and workflows.
 * Collaborate with fellow developers and contribute ideas to technical discussions.
 * Take ownership of your code, ensuring quality, performance and reliability.

You'll have the freedom to explore new solutions, challenge existing approaches and make a visible impact on the platform.
