## About the Role

* Experience with C2 systems.
 * Leadership experience
 * Develop software using C/C++/golang in a RHEL Linux environment
 * Design and implement software for large-scale command and control systems
 * Troubleshoot and report software anomalies
 * Work in a team environment, leading a small team of developers
 * Apply agile development practices and techniques to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and schedules, * Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance
 * Must be a U.S. citizen
 * Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Software Engineer, Information Technology)
 * Ten (10) or more years of software engineering/development experience using in a Linux environment
 * Proficiency developing and testing software in a Linux environment
 * Knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards
 * Proficiency with programming languages C, C++, Python.
 * Proficiency with UI's
 * Solid understanding of networking technology, TCP/IP and common internet application protocols
 * Proficiency developing and testing software in a Linux environment
 * Knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards
 * Proficiency with programming languages C, C++, Python.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 * Experience documenting test results for corrective actions
 * Experience using software configuration management tools (examples: git, BitBucket, Jira, etc.)
 * Experience interacting with databases (examples: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
 * Experience writing scripts (examples: shell scripting, python, PERL, etc.)
 * Familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies (examples: AWS, OpenStack, VMware, RHEV, etc.)

 * Familiarity with messaging servers (examples: ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, WebSphereMQ, ZeroMQ, GMSEC, etc.)
