## About the Role

* Previous experience in a 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
 * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop.
 * Experience administering Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
 * Good networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls and VPNs.
 * Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users.

Desirable Skills

 * Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 or similar).
 * Experience with enterprise firewall and VPN technologies.
 * Exposure to Intune, SCCM or endpoint management tools.
 * PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
 * Experience within multi-site environments.

Our client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys a mix of support, administration and project work within a modern Microsoft cloud environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the organisation's infrastructure while supporting users across multiple sites., * Provide 2nd line infrastructure support and resolve escalated issues.

 * Support and administer Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
 * Maintain Azure Virtual Desktop and remote working solutions.
 * Troubleshoot network, firewall, VPN and connectivity issues.
 * Contribute to infrastructure projects and system improvements.
 * Produce and maintain technical documentation.
 * Support security, patching and infrastructure resilience.
 * Provide technical guidance to 1st line support teams.
