## About the Role

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.

Experience: At least 2-10 years' experience and proven performance in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution, requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

 * Proven knowledge and experience around object-oriented programming.
 * Experience with C++ and/or Java.
 * Candidate should be familiar with RedHat Enterprise Linux and git.
 * Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration preferred.
 * Experience with combat systems, control systems, QT, GPB, and AMQP is preferred.
 * Experience with Database technologies such as Oracle, MariaDB, or MySQL.

Job Summary: SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support mission-critical defense applications. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers in a professional and technically focused environment., * Participates in an Agile development process to produce reliable software solutions for mission critical systems.

 * Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission problems.
 * Participates in one or all of the software disciplines available including UI, Infrastructure and back-end development.
 * Interfaces with Management, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Test Engineers to generate thorough investigations and solutions to problems.
 * Is self-motivated to explore solutions to software issues and can communicate them with the team.
