## Description

Located with the Energy Markets Battery Value Stream, you'll primarily be assigned to a Scrum Team, implementing and supporting a battery trading application. You will be working with Data Scientists, Data Base Administrators and Application Support engineers to help develop an existing application and its potential redevelopment as part of a One Battery Platform Approach.

You will

 * Design, build and enhance innovative software solutions that support critical Energy Markets trading and operational processes, delivering real business impact in a fast-moving industry.
 * Take ownership across the full software development lifecycle, from shaping requirements and designing solutions through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.
 * Work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Business Analysts and stakeholders to solve complex business challenges using Agile delivery practices and modern engineering approaches.
 * Help maintain and evolve business-critical platforms, troubleshooting issues, improving performance and ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and reliable. Champion engineering excellence by sharing knowledge, adopting emerging technologies and driving continuous improvements in development practices, automation and tooling.
