## About the Role

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving technical challenges and can work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business., * At least 2 years of experience in an IT support, IT administration or similar technical role;

 * Solid knowledge of Windows environments, hardware, software and troubleshooting;
 * Experience with network and server administration, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and security management;
 * Knowledge of user management, permissions, backups, antivirus and firewall solutions;
 * A proactive and independent working style, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities;
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, hands-on approach;
 * Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken;
 * A relevant IT qualification or degree is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued;

## Description

Working from our office in Valkenswaard, you will be the primary point of contact for internal IT support and take ownership of a broad range of IT responsibilities. From managing servers and network security to supporting colleagues and implementing new technologies, you will play a key role in keeping our organization running smoothly., IT support & employee services

 * Act as the first point of contact for internal IT support, resolving hardware, software, network and connectivity issues;
 * Provide technical support to employees in person, remotely and by phone;
 * Set up, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals for new and existing employees;
 * Guide colleagues in using company systems and software effectively.

System & network administration

 * Manage and maintain internal servers, user accounts, permissions and security groups;
 * Administer network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall configurations;
 * Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues;
 * Install, configure & update hardware, software and network equipment;
 * Manage system backups and support data recovery when required.

IT security & compliance

 * Maintain and improve IT security measures, including antivirus, firewalls, access controls, email security and encryption;
 * Ensure systems and software remain up to date and compliant with internal policies;
 * Monitor potential security risks and implement improvements to protect company data and systems;
 * Support security audits and ensure appropriate data protection practices.

Software & IT asset management

 * Install, configure and maintain business applications and software solutions;
 * Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements;
 * Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software and network equipment;
 * Coordinate the procurement, deployment, maintenance and replacement of IT equipment;
 * Work with external IT suppliers and vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Continuous improvement & projects

 * Take ownership of day-to-day IT operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability;
 * Support the implementation of new systems, applications and IT infrastructure upgrades;
 * Work with internal teams to understand their technology needs and translate them into practical solutions;
 * Stay informed about emerging technologies, cybersecurity developments and IT best practices.
