## About the Role

* Experience in technical support, ideally within a software environment.
 * Knowledge of IIS, TCP/IP, SQL Server, Azure, Active Directory/LDAP, COM/DCOM and PKI.
 * Experience with case management tools and virtual machines.
 * Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
 * A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, certificates, smartcards, firewalls, scripting, mobile technologies or Salesforce would be an advantage., * Are you willing to participate in evening support rotas and out-of-hours on-call coverage?

 * Do you have experience supporting a bespoke application running on SQL as this is effectively an application support role?
 * Have you had any experience providing application support for external customers?

What You'll Be Doing

 * Troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues for international customers and partners.
 * Supporting multi-tier applications across a Microsoft technology environment.
 * Working with Development teams to investigate software defects and deliver solutions.
 * Managing support cases, sharing technical knowledge and improving support processes.
 * Building strong customer relationships through responsive, high-quality technical support.
