## About the Role

* Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience
 * Ideally 2 5 years' experience in electronic hardware design
 * Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design
 * Experience with PCB design and schematic capture software
 * Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment
 * Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects
 * Experience with Altium Designer or RF circuit design would be advantageous

## Description

We're looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join a well-established and innovative engineering business in the Colchester area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of electronic hardware development projects, working on a range of products from initial concept through to production. You'll be joining a supportive engineering team where your technical expertise and ideas will make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Designing and developing analogue and digital electronic circuits
 * Creating schematics and PCB layouts
 * Leading hardware development projects from concept to production
 * Selecting components, testing prototypes and debugging electronic circuits
 * Working closely with software, mechanical and manufacturing teams
 * Supporting existing products and driving continuous improvements
 * Producing technical documentation and participating in design reviews
