## About the Role

* Active DV Clearance.
 * Strong Windows Engineering experience across both infrastructure and workplace environments.
 * Hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Windows Operating Systems.
 * Experience supporting desktop applications.
 * Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies, including VDI environments.
 * Experience with storage solutions.
 * Active Directory and Access Management expertise.

## Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical infrastructure team, supporting and maintaining restricted Windows environments, providing expert technical support and contributing to the ongoing stability, security and performance of key systems., * Provide BAU support, administration and configuration management across Windows infrastructure and workplace environments.

 * Plan and coordinate maintenance and patching activities.
 * Implement changes within Windows environments while minimising operational disruption.
 * Manage and maintain asset inventories, documentation and technical knowledge bases.
 * Resolve incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
 * Act as Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for complex Windows-related issues.
 * Support incident response, investigation, remediation and root cause analysis activities.
 * Monitor system performance, security and backups.
 * Respond proactively to monitoring alerts and system health issues.
 * Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
 * Work with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to maintain service excellence.
