## About the Role

* 5+ years' experience with software development, including expert knowledge of best practices, including code architectural patterns and code design principles and patterns with demonstrated ability to properly apply them as needed
 * Solid understanding of large-scale software systems
 * 3+ years of experience in development Angular based front-end development
 * 2+ years of experience with ExpressJS backend Development
 * Good experience with relational database systems (Postgres, MariaDB)
 * Good understanding of working with REST APIs
 * Very strong communication skills, both oral and written
 * Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle stages and best practices around each stage
 * Demonstrated ability to technically own the delivery of medium sized features, involving multiple people within the team
 * Experience with basic cloud services for building and running cloud-native applications

It's a bonus if you have

 * Agile development experience
 * CI/CD experience
 * Fintech or payments/banking product development experience

 * Working with a great engineering team to solve complex problems
 * Contributing to building a scalable platform, employing engineering best practices, on top of AWS
 * Collaborating to help refine our business requirements and evolve our payments platform
 * Fully owning the services that you and your team are building
 * Participating in team code reviews
 * Mentoring less experienced team members, helping them to become successful within the team and the project
 * Working with technical and non-technical people outside the team as it relates to team-owned projects/features
