## About the Role

* A strong track record of building and shipping production software, ideally within a startup or growing SaaS company.
 * Deep experience in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, and software architecture.
 * Practical experience integrating AI into real products, with attention to accuracy, privacy, and performance.
 * The ability to make sound technical decisions with limited resources and evolving requirements.
 * Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
 * Ownership, good judgment, and a willingness to stay close to the work.

Experience in healthcare technology, regulated environments, or HIPAA-related security practices is a plus. Previous CTO experience is welcome, but we're also open to an exceptional engineering leader ready to step into the role.

## Description

* Own the technical roadmap and translate business priorities into clear development milestones.
 * Lead the design, development, and delivery of a secure, scalable software platform.
 * Stay involved in coding, architecture, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
 * Develop practical AI capabilities and reliable integrations with third-party systems.
 * Establish strong standards for security, data privacy, testing, and system reliability.
 * Recruit and mentor engineers, manage technical partners, and build an accountable engineering team.
 * Work closely with the founders to balance product quality, development speed, and cost.
