## About the Role

We are seeking a talented, entrepreneurial software engineer to work directly with the founder of an early-stage consumer technology startup preparing for its initial launch.

The platform has already been developed, and we are looking for a technically strong, motivated individual to conduct a comprehensive pre-launch technical audit, ensure the application is secure and scalable, support its deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play, and provide ongoing technical maintenance and improvements following launch.

## Description

* Pre-Launch Technical Audit: Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing application, identifying and resolving bugs, performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and potential scalability concerns before going live.
 * Mobile App Launch: Prepare and support deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play, ensuring compliance with platform requirements and a seamless user experience.
 * Post-Launch Maintenance: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, resolve bugs, manage updates, and maintain application reliability following launch.
 * Security & Scalability: Review database architecture, authentication, API integrations, and infrastructure to support user growth and protect sensitive information.
 * Ongoing Product Development: Collaborate directly with the founder on technical enhancements, feature optimization, and the long-term technology roadmap.

Ideal Background

 * Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and Vercel.
 * Experience with mobile application development and iOS/Android deployment.
 * Proven ability to conduct technical audits, debug applications, and optimize performance.
 * Familiarity with application security, database management, and scalable infrastructure.
 * Experience maintaining live consumer-facing applications.
 * Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and enthusiasm for early-stage ventures.
