## Description

Located with the Energy Markets Battery Value Stream, you'll primarily be assigned to a Scrum Team, implementing and supporting a battery trading application. You will be working with Data Scientists, Data Base Administrators and Application Support engineers to help develop an existing application and its potential redevelopment as part of a One Battery Platform Approach.

You will

 * Design, build and enhance innovative software solutions that support critical Energy Markets trading and operational processes, delivering real business impact in a fast-moving industry.
 * Take ownership across the full software development lifecycle, from shaping requirements and designing solutions through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.
 * Work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Business Analysts and stakeholders to solve complex business challenges using Agile delivery practices and modern engineering approaches.
 * Help maintain and evolve business-critical platforms, troubleshooting issues, improving performance and ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and reliable.
 * Champion engineering excellence by sharing knowledge, adopting emerging technologies and driving continuous improvements in development practices, automation and tooling., * Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using technologies such as Python, C#, JavaScript, .NET or similar modern development frameworks.
