## About the Role

* 4+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing, testing, integrating, or maintaining software applications
 * 3+ years of experience developing applications using an object-oriented programming language
 * 2+ years of experience developing web applications using frontend technologies or frameworks, such as React or Angular
 * Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs
 * Experience developing applications using relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and working with SQL
 * Experience working within Agile software development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
 * Experience using software development and task management tools, such as Jira
 * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
 * Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology field or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

 * Experience developing production applications with Python

You'll develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities while working within established application architectures and engineering standards. You'll participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot application issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improvements in software quality and maintainability. You'll work alongside senior engineers to evaluate technical approaches, learn new tools and technologies, and continuously improve the team's development and delivery practices.
