## About the Role

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.
 * Six or more years of experience in application development, systems testing, software engineering, or a related discipline.
 * Advanced proficiency in Python programming and application development.
 * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
 * Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.
 * Strong understanding of software design, systems integration, debugging, testing, and application performance optimization.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet project deadlines, and develop reliable, maintainable software solutions.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Python Developer:

 * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
 * Background in legacy application refactoring, rewriting existing systems, or cloud migration projects.

## Description

* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Python applications and cloud-based services.
 * Analyze legacy systems and modernize existing components through refactoring, rewriting, and migration.
 * Build and integrate APIs to enable communication between applications and cloud services.
 * Implement and maintain automated build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD and DevOps tools.
 * Develop and execute unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and optimize application performance and reliability.
 * Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.
