Alongside this, the role takes ownership of Solarport's day-to-day IT, from Microsoft 365 administration and user support to acting as the main link with our off-site IT service provider, and builds and maintains the automations and integrations that make our teams more efficient. It suits a practical, curious technologist who enjoys understanding how a business runs end to end, is comfortable with low-code and scripting tools, and wants to help shape how the business adopts ERP, automation and AI., * Dynamics 365 Implementation: Act as Solarport's lead internal contact for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 rollout, working with our implementation partner on requirements gathering, process mapping, system configuration, data migration, testing and go-live. * Dynamics 365 Super User & System Ownership: Become the in-house expert on Dynamics 365 once live: owning configuration, security roles, workflows and master data, handling first-line user queries, and managing change requests and updates with our partner. * Process & Data Readiness: Work with teams across the business to review and standardise processes and prepare clean, well-structured data for migration into Dynamics 365. * ERP Adoption & Training: Build training materials and user guides, run training sessions and champion adoption of Dynamics 365 across the business, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement. * Reporting & Integration: Develop reports and dashboards from Dynamics 365 (e.g. Power BI) and integrate it with Microsoft 365, Monday.com and other business systems. * IT Operations & Support: Act as the first point of contact for internal IT issues, resolving what can be handled in-house and escalating to our external IT provider where needed, ensuring issues are closed out promptly. * Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, licences, Teams, SharePoint sites and permissions, working with our IT provider on changes that require elevated access. * SQL Setup & Maintenance: Creating and maintaining SQL Server instances for local/cloud hosting purposes: database administration. * Maintaining Server Infrastructure: Setting up and maintaining servers for any purpose (inwards-facing web-apps, database, etc) to aid the digitalisation of the business. * Process Automation: Design, build and maintain workflow automations using Power Automate, Zapier and similar tools, connecting Microsoft 365, Monday.com and other business systems. * AI Tools & Integrations: Support the rollout and administration of AI tools, API integrations and connectors, working with the AI & Automation team on access, permissions and data handling. * Security & Compliance: Maintain good security practice across systems and automations, including multi-factor authentication, access reviews and device compliance, and support compliance with UK GDPR. * Software & Hardware Management: Maintain the IT asset register, manage software licensing and renewals, and coordinate the setup and offboarding of equipment and accounts for starters and leavers. * Supplier Liaison: Serve as the day-to-day contact for our external IT partner and Dynamics 365 implementation partner, monitoring service levels and flagging service or cost issues to the AI & Automation lead. * Project Support: Support other system deployments and migrations, including testing, data preparation and user onboarding. * Documentation & Training: Document systems, automations and processes, and help colleagues use technology effectively and securely.
