The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and SQL, with proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts through the use of practices such as BDD., * Proven industry experience in automation testing with strong hands-on experience in Java.

 * Solid experience with BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber).
 * Strong hands-on experience in API automation/testing.
 * Prior experience in the usage of SQL for database validation and testing.
 * Fair working knowledge of CI/CD process, Jenkins, Git, etc
 * Excellent logical, analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities., * Exposure to the Finance industry or a background in financial applications is a significant advantage.

## Description

Implement and work within a BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) automation framework.

 * Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, test estimation, regression testing, test automation development, and other project artifacts.
 * Acting as a quality gate and identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs before software products are delivered to our clients.
 * Implementation and execution of API based automation test for functional and non-functional testing using Citi approved tools.
 * Identifying and highlighting ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient, scalable team.
 * Work with the business and Production Support to investigate issues and prevent production defects.
 * Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
 * Together with the team contribute to innovative & best-in-class solutions for our business.
 * Apply proven software testing concepts and methodologies to daily tasks.
 * Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
 * Adapt to changing business needs and effectively shift focus on priorities as required.
