## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience independently shipping production full-stack software end to end.
 * Strong experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
 * Deep PostgreSQL knowledge beyond ORM defaults, including query plans and migrations against live customer data.
 * Proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
 * Experience with durable workflow orchestration: Temporal preferred; Celery or equivalent accepted.
 * Direct customer-facing delivery experience, including scoping problems and shipping solutions.
 * Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, rate limits, and reconciling data between systems.
 * Ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical finance stakeholders.
 * High ownership, self-direction, and comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements.

Nice to Have

 * Accounting, ERP, or fintech knowledge, including double-entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts, financial close, AP/AR, and revenue recognition.
 * Previous forward-deployed, applied engineering, or special-projects experience.
 * Sound judgment about when to write a script versus build a lasting system.

## Description

* Own customer projects from discovery and design through development, deployment, and verification.
 * Build migration and integration pipelines using Temporal that are idempotent, resumable, and auditable.
 * Model and load accounting data into PostgreSQL, reconciling it against customers' existing systems.
 * Develop internal tools to automate recurring tasks.
 * Bring insights from customer projects into the core product and turn repeatable solutions into permanent capabilities.
 * Reduce the time between a customer request and a shipped solution.
