## About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused individual to join our German IT Sourcing team. The successful candidate will have experience across the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for IT engagements, with a focus on Software, Hardware, Cloud, Telecommunications, and IT Services categories., * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.

 * Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management, or related commercial roles.
 * Experience in one or more IT sourcing categories, including Software, SaaS, Cloud, Hardware, Telecommunications, Data Center, or IT Services.
 * Demonstrated experience participating in supplier negotiations and sourcing projects.
 * Good understanding of commercial contract terms, Statements of Work (SOWs), Software Agreements, SaaS Agreements, and Service Level Agreements.
 * Ability to analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, and commercial models.
 * Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within agreed timelines.
 * Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

## Description

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner., We are currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Consultant to join the Technology Services team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, client-oriented professional with sourcing experience in Technology Services and a strong interest in developing deep category expertise., * Support and independently manage sourcing engagements of varying spend and complexity levels across IT sourcing categories, including Software Licensing & Maintenance, SaaS, Cloud Services, Hardware, Telecom, Network Services, Data Center Services, and Managed Services.

 * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, objectives, priorities, and sourcing opportunities.
 * Conduct spend analyses, supplier assessments, market research, and benchmarking activities.
 * Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies and negotiation plans.
 * Assist in identifying cost optimization and value creation opportunities across sourcing engagements.
 * Prepare and manage RFx processes, supplier evaluations, and commercial comparisons using sourcing tools and platforms.
 * Contribute to contract reviews and negotiations, partnering with senior colleagues and legal teams where appropriate.
 * Build and maintain productive supplier relationships and stay informed about relevant market developments and industry trends.
 * Ensure compliance with client governance, procurement policies, legal requirements, and sourcing procedures.
 * Provide accurate project reporting, savings tracking, and documentation using Chain IQ and client systems.
