## About the Role

* Practical software testing and software quality assurance experience, with familiarity with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Jenkins, LoadRunner, HP ALM, Jira and CI tools.
 * Programming or scripting knowledge in Java, C#,.NET, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, PHP, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, Bash or Node.js is useful.
 * Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2 or MongoDB; tools including Git, GitHub, GitLab, SVN, TFS, Maven, Ant, Visual Studio or Eclipse; and AWS or Azure is welcome.
 * Understanding of operating systems, computer networking, Android, iOS, MVC and business requirements is advantageous.

## Description

As a Software Test Engineer, you'll help deliver dependable software by designing and carrying out tests across applications, APIs and services. You'll work with development and delivery teams throughout the SDLC, from requirements gathering to release management. Your impact: Thorough testing and clear defect analysis help users rely on software that works as intended., * Create and maintain test cases for functional, system, integration, user acceptance, unit and performance testing, including test automation.

 * Investigate defects through debugging, software troubleshooting and root cause analysis; document findings and support quality assurance.
 * Collaborate with software development, DevOps and business analysis teams using Scrum or Waterfall approaches and continuous integration.
 * Test UI, web services, REST and SOAP APIs, service-oriented architecture and database integrations; analyse results and support release decisions.
