## About the Role

* Passion for building great products and solving complex engineering challenges
 * 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar)
 * Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems, with the ability to write and review high-quality code
 * Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, data technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, message queues), and cloud platforms such as AWS
 * Data driven mindset with the ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and continuously improve team productivity in an agile environment
 * Excellent communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams
 * Curious and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new technologies. Experience with security, cryptography, or machine learning is a plus.

You'll lead a talented engineering team, shape the technical direction of our platforms, and drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions. Along the way, you'll empower engineers to grow, champion engineering best practices, and help build a collaborative, high-performing team that makes a real impact., * Lead a team of full-stack engineers, driving successful delivery of product and technical initiatives while balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability

 * Recruit, develop, and mentor engineers, fostering a high-performing team and supporting their career growth
 * Take ownership of one or more key systems at Coda, driving their technical direction and shaping an ambitious roadmap with your team
 * Guide the team with prioritazation, resolving complex technical challenges, and adopting best practices
 * Oversee project timelines and deliverables. Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
 * Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to align on goals, define priorities, drive execution from OKRs to day-to-day delivery, and communicate progress, risks, and technical direction
 * Oversee the utilisation of modern platforms and technologies, ensuring they are leveraged effectively to maximise the value the engineering teams deliver.
