## About the Role

* Proven experience managing large-scale IT operations within a complex organizational environment.
 * Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; experience with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
 * Strong background in network infrastructure including LAN/WAN design, Cisco routers/switches configuration, firewall management, DHCP/DNS setup.
 * Hands-on experience with server management on Windows Server environments; familiarity with Linux systems engineering is a plus.
 * Demonstrated expertise in database administration using Microsoft SQL Server or similar platforms; understanding of SQL queries and database optimization techniques.
 * Skilled in project management with a track record of leading cross-functional teams using Agile or ITIL frameworks.
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders at all levels.
 * Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are highly desirable.
 * Strong analytical skills combined with organizational prowess to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

## Description

* Lead and supervise the IT operations team, including technical support, network engineering, systems administration, and project management staff.
 * Oversee the management of IT infrastructure such as servers, networks, databases, and cloud services including AWS and Azure.
 * Ensure the stability, security, and performance of enterprise systems like Microsoft Windows Server, Linux platforms, VMware vSphere, and Cisco network devices.
 * Develop and implement IT policies aligned with ITIL standards for incident management, change management, and service request fulfillment.
 * Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services; negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
 * Coordinate disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime.
 * Oversee technical projects from initiation through completion using Agile methodologies; monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
 * Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, system architectures, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
 * Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing network security measures such as firewalls, active directory management, access controls, and information security protocols.
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational metrics with tools like SolarWinds and ServiceNow; identify opportunities for automation or process enhancements.
