## About the Role

* Minimum of 2 years of progressive systems administration experience.
 * Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Windows or Linux system administration.
 * Experience supporting cloud environments (AWS preferred), including securing, managing, troubleshooting, and delivering cloud-based solutions.
 * Experience working in a DevSecOps environment using configuration management, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
 * Bachelor's degree in a technical field OR 4 years of equivalent professional or military experience in lieu of a degree.

Bonus points you might have:

 * Experience scripting with PowerShell and/or Bash.
 * Familiarity with Jira Service Management and JQL.
 * Experience with Microsoft Identity & Access Management configuration.
 * Knowledge of Group Policy administration.
 * Working understanding of certificate services, CA/PKI infrastructure, and related security technologies.
 * Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

## Description

* Apply configuration management principles and engineering lifecycle best practices to maintain secure and resilient systems.
 * Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and document system configurations across Windows Server 2016/2019 and RHEL 7/8 environments.
 * Harden operating systems and services to meet federal security and compliance standards.
 * Manage and maintain COTS and GOTS applications to ensure operational readiness.
 * Sustain production enterprise systems such as firewalls, file servers, and security monitoring tools supporting a large user community.
 * Provide responsive, customer-focused technical support, both in writing and via phone, to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
