## About the Role

Core Java Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot frameworks. Fluency with modern testing libraries and build tooling.

Microservices & Kafka: Proven experience building and deploying scalable microservices. Deep working knowledge of Kafka for event-driven systems and asynchronous messaging.

AI-Assisted Engineering: Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, internal copilots, or LLM-enabled development workflows). Comfort applying AI/ML concepts responsibly.

Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and distributed systems in highly regulated environments.

Quality & DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD, observability stacks, and infrastructure-as-code principles. Experience driving automated testing suites.

Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and navigate enterprise governance.

Good to have:

Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or TypeScript) to contribute to full-stack delivery.

Experience in the Financial Services/Banking domain.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional).
