## About the Role

* A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
 * At least 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science, preferably within Internal Audit, risk, controls, or a comparable assurance environment.
 * Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience preparing, validating, and analyzing complex datasets.
 * A sound understanding of statistical and analytical methods, including clustering, forecasting, and classification.
 * Experience translating business risks and audit questions into analytical requirements, and explaining technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
 * Experience working with data lakes or cloud data platforms, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
 * Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently.
 * Fluency in written and spoken English.

Additional experience that would be an advantage:

 * Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
 * Machine-learning tools and techniques, such as XGBoost, LightGBM, and k-means.
 * Streamlit or similar tools for presenting analytical results.
 * Practical application of AI to analytics or audit activities.
 * A relevant master's degree or postgraduate qualification.

## Description

* Obtaining and preparing data in collaboration with the Data Analytics team, addressing data-accuracy and completeness issues before further analysis.
 * Developing and executing repeatable analytics to support operational, financial, and compliance audits, identifying anomalies, patterns, and potential control weaknesses.
 * Documenting analytical methods, assumptions, limitations, and results to ensure analyses are traceable, reproducible, and suitable for use as audit evidence.
 * Validating analytical results with audit teams and business stakeholders, and communicating insights clearly through visualizations (dashboards) and concise reporting.
 * Support the development of AI-enabled audit processes, including the automation of audit programs and testing activities
