## About the Role

Bring your passion, here's what's needed:

 * Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a similar technical field or Bachelor of Power System Engineering and 4+ years working in a software engineering capacity.
 * Minimum 5+ years of experience developing software or SaaS product.
 * Minimum 3+ years of Python experience specifically in the design on FastAPI based REST services, and the python ecosystem
 * Minimum 4+ years of React experience specifically in a fullstack capacity for the development of SaaS / CloudBased applications.
 * Demonstrated contribution to at least one enterprise client facing application
 * Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
 * Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
 * Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * Proven capability to mentor and provide support to Junior Developers.
 * Ability to dive into new codebases, generate data-driven decisions for refactoring opportunities, and contribute code.
 * Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, specifically AWS.
 * Power Systems Engineering experience preferred.

In this role, you will work alongside senior developers and engineers to help develop, maintain, and deploy cutting-edge cloud-based solutions for scaling transmission power systems engineering processes for both EPE and our clients. You will have opportunities to work with the latest technologies and contribute to a growing portfolio of products that are helping shape the future of power systems.
