## About the Role

Essential - you'll need:

 * Strong interest in data, reporting and analytics.
 * Experience using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
 * Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
 * Basic experience using Power BI, Tableau or another reporting tool.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * High level of attention to detail.
 * Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
 * Good organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Collaborative and proactive approach to learning and development., * Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
 * Recent graduates and candidates with relevant internships, placements or apprenticeship experience are encouraged to apply.

Desirable - it would be great if you also have:

 * Basic knowledge of Power BI.
 * Familiarity with SQL querying.
 * Knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and formulas.
 * Exposure to data quality, reporting or analytics projects.
 * Understanding of business KPIs and reporting metrics.

## Description

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team.

This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their analytics career who is passionate about working with data, creating reports and helping stakeholders make informed decisions. Working closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers and business teams, you will support reporting, data quality initiatives and insight generation across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL and modern analytics tools while developing your technical and business knowledge.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 * Create and maintain recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI.
 * Support business users by providing data extracts, reports and analysis.
 * Assist with gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders.
 * Produce accurate and timely management information for operational teams.
 * Monitor and investigate data quality issues.
 * Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
 * Produce documentation for reports, datasets and processes.
 * Respond to reporting queries and provide user support.
