## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
 * Recent experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
 * Experience developing and integrating microservices and containerized applications.
 * Experience migrating applications to cloud environments.
 * Experience configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
 * Experience with ActiveMQ and/or Kafka messaging technologies.
 * Experience implementing deployment strategies for high-availability systems.
 * Experience with software integration, debugging, testing, and root cause analysis., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
 + Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
 * Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

## Description

* Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements for cloud-based applications.
 * Design, develop, modify, and integrate software components and microservices within cloud environments, preferably AWS.
 * Migrate existing applications to cloud platforms while evaluating system dependencies, interfaces, and performance requirements.
 * Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
 * Implement container-based deployment strategies to support high-availability systems.
 * Develop and maintain application integrations using messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ and Kafka.
 * Debug software and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
 * Develop and execute software testing procedures, perform quality control, and maintain technical documentation.
 * Prepare after-action reports documenting technical findings, new requirements, and improvements to Tier 1 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
 * Collaborate with systems engineers and development teams to coordinate software integration and deployment activities.
