## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application support/development, ensuring stability for critical Trading platforms
 * Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, UNIX, LINUX
 * Ability to lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines
 * Experience with monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, and Dynatrace
 * Knowledge of Equities asset class and related trade processing flows
 * Programming/scripting skills: Python, Unix/scripting, Java, Perl
 * Intermediate level SQL / PLSQL (multi-table joins, grouping results, etc)
 * Strong knowledge of ITIL SDLC principles and execution (Certification is a differential)
 * Experience with JIRA
 * Well-rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)
 * Experience in coordinating with offshore/onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

## Description

Seeking a skilled production services specialist to join an Equities team providing technical support to end user requests and issues. This role is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the technology platform, including managing application platform monitoring, leading incident and problem management activities, and ensuring stability and resiliency across all services for critical trading platforms., * Manage application platform monitoring and support

 * Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to ensure stability
 * Lead incident and problem management activities
 * Onboard new applications and effectively communicate to stakeholders
 * Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of moderately complex unresolved problems, complaints, and service requests
 * Monitor application performance and provide support to business users
 * Perform troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution using advanced query and programming skills
