## About the Role

The candidate we are looking for will have experience in:

 * Basic CAD, drawing interpretation or technical documentation experience
 * Understanding of why specifications, revisions and approvals matter
 * Methodical approach to checking and recording information
 * Willingness to learn LV switchgear, enclosures, busbar and manufacturing processes
 * Ability to work with engineers, production and quality teams

## Description

Due to continued growth, our client is currently recruiting for Junior Design Engineer to join their growing workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Engineering and have a proactive attitude to learn.This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking for long term progression

What you will be working towards:

 * Convert customer build specifications, SLDs, drawings and order details into clear engineering inputs

 * Identify gaps, assumptions, exclusions and decision points before committing engineering or commercial position

 * Create enclosure arrangements that suit the electrical circuit, device layout, ratings, access and manufacturing method

 * Produce drawings, models, BOMs, schedules and instructions for accurate build by production

 * Use AutoCAD, Inventor, Radan Draft and Radan CAD / CAM appropriately for controlled outputs

 * Resolve production queries and design issues with practical, timely and commercially aware responses

 * Develop knowledge, judgement, behaviours and evidence in line with professional engineering expectation
