## About the Role

* Experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, systems administration or a related technical role.
 * Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including networking, storage, virtual machines and identity management.
 * Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud.
 * Familiarity with operating systems, networking fundamentals, DNS, firewalls and connectivity troubleshooting.
 * Understanding of cloud security, access management, monitoring and backup practices.
 * Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python or Bash.
 * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure-as-code tools would be beneficial.
 * Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and explain findings clearly.
 * Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.

## Description

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to help us build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure for our clients. You'll work across cloud environments, infrastructure management, migrations and deployment processes, helping ensure that systems remain reliable, secure and efficient.

You'll be involved in solving technical problems, improving infrastructure performance and supporting the delivery of cloud solutions that meet business requirements. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, approaches challenges methodically and understands the importance of reliability, security and cost management.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Design, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure to meet application and business requirements.
 * Monitor cloud environments, investigate performance issues and resolve infrastructure incidents.
 * Support cloud migration projects, including planning, implementation, testing and post-migration checks.
 * Automate routine infrastructure tasks to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
 * Work with development and operations teams to support application deployment and ongoing service reliability.
 * Implement and maintain appropriate access controls, security configurations and monitoring processes.
 * Review cloud resource usage and identify opportunities to improve performance and manage costs.
 * Support backup, recovery and business continuity arrangements.
 * Maintain infrastructure documentation, configuration records and operational procedures.
 * Investigate recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent them from happening again.
 * Contribute to DevOps practices, deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions where appropriate.
 * Keep up to date with cloud technologies, infrastructure tools and relevant security practices.
