## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced API Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale API platforms for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-native architecture, API governance, microservices, enterprise security, and integration technologies. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance API solutions across enterprise applications and digital platforms., * 15+ years of software engineering experience.

 * 5+ years of API Architecture experience.
 * Strong expertise in REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs.
 * OpenAPI (Swagger) specification development.
 * API Security: OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), TLS.
 * Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
 * Docker & Kubernetes.
 * Microservices Architecture & Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
 * CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
 * Kafka or RabbitMQ.
 * Networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancers, and TLS.
 * Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Preferred Skills

 * API Gateway platforms (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, MuleSoft).
 * Enterprise Integration Patterns.
 * Zero Trust Architecture.
