## About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and logical thinking skills, a passion for solving problems, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

You will play an important role in transforming data into meaningful insights, developing dashboards and reports, investigating data-related issues, and creating clear technical documentation to support our business processes and reporting solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, understanding how systems work, and finding practical solutions to complex problems., * Practical experience using Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, data modelling, and DAX fundamentals.

 * Practical experience using Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas (such as XLOOKUP, IF statements), PivotTables, Power Query, data analysis, and data modelling.
 * Strong logical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
 * Ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps and develop structured solutions.
 * Ability to produce clear, well-organised technical documentation.
 * Good understanding of data structures, relationships, and reporting principles.
 * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
 * Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
 * A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
 * Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions or seek support.

Desirable Skills

 * Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
 * Basic knowledge of Python.
 * Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation.
 * Understanding of data Warehouse/Lakehouse concepts.
 * Experience documenting business processes, technical specifications, or data mapping.
 * Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or other Microsoft data technologies., Beyond technical skills, we particularly value someone who:

* Power BI Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
 * Excel Development: Design, build and maintain Excel reports
 * Problem-Solving: Apply logical and structured thinking to troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
 * Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation, including data models, data flows, reporting logic, business rules, and process descriptions.
