## About the Role

The ideal candidate will:

 * Have strong hands-on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
 * Be comfortable designing solutions as well as implementing them.
 * Understand security, identity, automation and operational support.
 * Be able to work independently and take ownership of technical problems.
 * Understand how to create standardised and repeatable services.
 * Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Work effectively with architecture, product, pre-sales and operations teams.
 * Be comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Highly Desirable

 * Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
 * experience designing managed services or professional service offerings, rather than only implementing solutions.
 * experience taking technical services from initial concept through to delivery and operational support.
 * experience developing solutions that can be repeatedly delivered to multiple customers.

Senior -Level experience

For a Senior Engineer, we would also look for:

 * End-to-end ownership of complex technical workstreams.
 * Strong Azure/Microsoft solution design experience.
 * Ability to shape technical service offerings rather than simply work from an existing specification.
 * Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
 * Strong stakeholder management.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Engineer to design, build and improve Microsoft-based cloud services.

You will work across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, security, automation and infrastructure, helping deliver secure, scalable and reliable solutions.

The role combines hands-on engineering with service design. You will help turn technical solutions into standardised, repeatable services that can be deployed and supported across multiple customers., * Design, build and support solutions across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

 * Deliver cloud infrastructure covering networking, compute, storage, identity, security and governance.
 * Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
 * Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management and security controls.
 * Support cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
 * Translate technical and architectural requirements into practical solutions.
 * Automate deployments and infrastructure using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
 * Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps and release processes.
 * Troubleshoot technical issues across cloud and Microsoft platforms.
 * Produce technical documentation, deployment guides and operational runbooks.
 * Support testing, deployment, migration and transition into live service.
 * Improve the security, reliability, performance and supportability of existing services.
 * Help develop repeatable managed and professional service offerings rather than one-off technical solutions.
